Studley Solar Farm

Construction on Studley Solar Farm will begin soon.

On this page you will be able to find key contact information and project updates.

We are about to start construction in Q1 2026 on a solar farm and battery storage located on land on land at Studley Farm, Atworth, Melksham, SN12 8JN.

The Solar Farm will be connected into the local electricity network,. This will power the equivalent of 5,730 homes and displace 5,030 tonnes of CO2 every year it is in operation.

Works on the cable route on Westlands lane will commence late January 2026- March 2026 this has been planned closely with Wiltshire council and another Contractor to limit the impact of the work to the local residents and road network. Access to homes along Westlands lane will still be possible during this time but may be subject to minor disruption.

We held a Public Information Event in Atworth Village Hall on 27th November 2025.

Please find the boards that were presented at the event here.
